Artist's Description
Key hole painting came from my childhood growing up in a house that was built in 1929. The doors were solid wood and the shape of the keyholes are as you see in the painting. As a child I would look through the Key holes often and little did I know i would start painting 2000 and this is part of the evolution of my painting journey.
About Paul Carter
Born and raised in Southern California, my love for the ocean and surfing began at age 4. I started Hand Shaping surfboards in 1993, and thousands of surfboards later I was Inspired in 2000 and started painting with acrylic. It was a natural progression to learn how to paint on the foam and then fiber glassed as you will see in some of my images.
